One person's move to Cambodia in an attempt to make trade fair -- fair wages for producers and fair prices for consumers. Bloom eco-friendly bags are recycled bags hand made by fairly paid workers in Cambodia that are sought after by ethical consumers everywhere.

No relation to Bloom Garden as I have sold it
Just a quick update to say I have sold the guesthouse business I started in 2010 and am in no way associated with its management or operations. The bags business I have donated the machines, some to Grace House NGO and others to Kagna our former Bloom manager. I am pleased to say all the former Bloom staff members are doing well, having now the skills to move on to better paykng jobs with good prospects. Sina our former manager of the workshop in Phnom Penh now beingthe principal of a private school in Phnom Penh and Kagna being the owner of three houses (!). Cambodia is no longer the desperately poor country it once was when I moved here in 2006. I,too, have moved on from Bloom as after ten years of running Bloom I wanted to change my life. Thank you all for your support of Bloom and reading this blog. Kind regards, Diana
